This first responder course will not certify you as a hostage negotiator. It was designed to provide you with basic techniques in handling calls where you are a first responder to a critical incident or hostage situation. The course is broken into three sections.

Section 2. Suicide Intervention
Section 3. Suicide by Cop
A certificate will be awarded after successful completion of the course. All certificates are sent by e-mail in the PDF format to the address you provide at the time you sign up.
